Privacy policy.

When you submit a form on this site — the free-audit form, the automation build sheet, or any contact form — I collect the information you type into it: name, email, phone (if provided), company, industry, and any notes about your business. Nothing more.

When you visit the site I collect the same basic web logs any host collects: the pages you looked at, the referring URL, your rough geographic region, and your device type. I do not use ad-tracking pixels, third-party trackers, or cross-site analytics networks.

Form submissions are used to reply to you, prepare a quote if you asked for one, and keep a record of the conversation so I don't ask the same question twice. Basic web logs are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse.

I don't sell your information. I don't add you to a marketing list without your consent. If we work together I may reference your business in a case study — but only after you've reviewed and approved the exact wording.

Your data is stored in tools I use to run the business: Supabase for form submissions, a business email provider for correspondence, and Calendly for scheduling. Each of those vendors has their own privacy terms, and each is bound by industry-standard data processing agreements.

I don't hand your data to advertising networks, data brokers, or any other third party for their own use. Period.

Form submissions are retained for as long as our conversation is active, plus a reasonable window after — typically 24 months — so I can pick up where we left off if you come back. Client project data is kept for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years for tax and legal purposes. You can ask me to delete it sooner and I will, except where the law requires me to keep it.

You can ask me at any time to send you a copy of what I have about you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete it entirely. Email jacob@yalavanity.com with the request and I'll act on it within 30 days.

If you're in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights under CCPA, GDPR, or UK GDPR — including the right to object to certain processing. Ask and I'll walk you through it.

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies — things like keeping you on the same server between requests. No advertising cookies, no behavioral tracking, no consent-banner theater. If that changes I'll update this page and add a proper consent banner before it does.

If I materially change how I handle your information, I'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and, if I have your email because we've been in touch, I'll email you about it.
